Illustration

In the Illustration course, students learn to understand and apply essential visual elements such as lines, flat shapes, three-dimensional forms, light and shadow, color, texture, and space. They explore different methods for organizing these elements to improve the overall composition and visual impact their artwork. Through hands-on projects, learners develop strong observation skills and the ability to create expressive, engaging illustrations.
Watercolor Painting

The Watercolor Painting course introduces students to the history of watercolor painting, the tools and materials used, and the principles of color and their application. Through the practice of replicating classic works, painting still life in the classroom and sketching outdoors, students develop foundational artistic skills. The course aims to cultivate students’ abilities to observe color and form, while enhancing their aesthetic and expressive skills. Additionally, it includes an exploration of classic paintings from various styles to inspire creativity.
Monochromatic Drawing

The Monochromatic Drawing course helps students enhance their observational skills, modeling abilities, and expressive capabilities. Monochromatic Drawing serves as a foundational training method for visual arts (including painting, architecture, sculpture, etc.), aiming to improve the ability to observe and represent the form, structure, dynamics, and spatial relationships of objects (including light and shadow, perspective, etc.). Additionally, Monochromatic Drawing can also be regarded as an independent art form in its own right.
Acrylic Painting

The Acrylic Painting course introduces the unique characteristics of acrylics as a versatile medium, along with the works of prominent acrylic artists. Students will explore key principles of color, including the color relationships, the perception of color temperature, and the psychology of color. Through various color exercises, students will refine their sensitivity to the aesthetic and emotional impact of colors.
